THE SERIES Stellar Vagrant is a serialized sci-fi western inspired by late-1980s anime OVAs. The Regalia Empire controls civilization through its relay gates. Its last major enemy, the Free Nation, was destroyed in a brutal war. Beyond the final gates are the far reaches: dead colonies, ancient ruins, scavengers, and forgotten technology. This is where Cass Moro disappeared. Once Warden-First of the Free Nation Army, Cass survived the battle that destroyed his country. Now he flies an aging ship called the Mule, taking dangerous salvage jobs and insisting he’s only doing it for money. He isn’t.
