Nightly Tales is a comedy-fantasy animated kids' series following O — short for Oswald — a big-hearted orphan who escapes the only home he's ever known to search the world for his biological parents. He's quickly adopted by a trio of eccentric, self-interested creatures — a ghost, a vampire, and a zombie — each of whom secretly wants something from the boy yet would do anything to keep him safe, with a mysterious creature called Miss C riding on O's shoulder as the group's reluctant matriarch. The catch governing the whole quest is that all searching must happen only after sunset, turning it into a string of nocturnal misadventures that slowly circle a much larger mystery: O may not be human at all.
