A young man scrolling WhatsApp late at night taps a video link passed around his group chat, ignoring the warning beneath it not to watch it after dark. The clip is brief and almost nothing — a dark room, an empty chair, a shape stirring in the corner, a single frame of a face — but that night he wakes at exactly 3:00 a.m. to a voice murmuring in his ear that he is not alone. He finds himself paralyzed in bed as a shape gathers in the corner of his room, and a new message in the group warns him not to look at it; when his gaze finally drifts over, the thing moves closer, as though being seen were the permission it needed. By morning he deletes the chat, blocks the contact, and tells himself it was only suggestion — the late hour, the lack of sleep. But the curse doesn't lift. Every night at 3:00 a.m. he wakes, certain something is watching, refusing to look at the corner — and sometimes, in the dark, he still hears the voice: you're not alone.
